William Abner Henson was born on April 2, 1895 in McNairy County, Tennessee, United States, son of William Crawford Henson (1867–1934) and Sarah Ann Cox (1867–1905).

In 1910, William (15) was living in Civil District 2, McNairy, Tennessee.
In 1930, William (35) was living in District 2, McNairy, USA.
William died on April 16, 1967 in McNairy County, aged 72. He was buried in Mount Gilead Cemetery, Rose Creek.[1]
