Biography

Margery was born about 1511. She was the daughter of John Higginson.

She married Roland Radford before 1533, at which date they were both admitted to the Guild of Knowle. ^[1]

Margery was named in the 1540 will of her father. ^[2]

The will of Roland “Radford” of Berkswell, dated 26 Aug. 1553, proved 14 Oct. 1555,^[3] mentions his wife Margery and children Robert (eldest son), William, Gregory, and Thomas Radford, and unnamed daughters.
