Biography
Hosea, the son of Joseph Hildreth and Abigail Shedd, a twin, was born in Westford, Middlesex, Massachusetts, on November 1, 1744.[1]
Hosea married Experience Keep at Westford on June 22, 1769.[2]
Corporal Hosea Hildreth served with Middlesex County Militia, Massachusetts Militia during the American Revolution.
Hosea Hildreth is a DAR Patriot Ancestor, A055515.
In the Revolutionary War, Hosea, of Westford, was a Corporal in Capt. Jonathan Minot's co., Col. James Prescott's regt., which marched on the alarm of April 19, 1775; service, 6 days.[3]
Hosea died on December 20, 1776, at Westford, in his 33rd year.[4]
