Biography

Barbara was the daughter of Christopher Hilliard and Ellen Hilliard.^[1]

In 1813 she claimed a pension as her brothers William and Morgan had both been killed in the army.^[2]

She married Francis Twiss at Tralee on 25th May 1820.^[3] They had:^[1]

1. Frances, born 9th May 1822^[4]
2. Ellen
3. Elisabeth Catherine, died at Tralee on 20th April 1862^[5].

Barbara died at Tralee in February 1864 aged 76.^[6][7]
