Elizabeth was born about 1784 to Andrew Himelick and Susannah Neu in Virginia. Elizabeth Himelick married George Clingenpeel in 1809. The Clingenpeels moved to Ohio sometime around 1811. In the 1850 and 1860 Census she is listed in the home of her daughter, Sophia Simons. Elizabeth passed away in 1862 and was buried in the Albaugh-Clingenpeel Cemetery in Mexico, Indiana.
