Hi! My name is Rachel Hines, and I'm extremely interested in learning more about my roots, yes, but how those interconnect with the genealogy of everyone else in the world. I'm currently studying anthropology in college, and it's really opened my base knowledge up to things that I'd never known before. I've learned and am continuing to learn about the origin of our species, and really just how young this segment of recorded history is in the grand scheme of the existence of Earth. I've also learned a great deal about the people around me in the places I've traveled by paying attention to my encounters, so really I guess it's sufficient to say that I'm attracted to culture and understanding why people act the way they do, and how their cultures' pasts influence them today.
