Ethel Hodder was born on 23 November 1880 in Greytown, Wellington, New Zealand, daughter of Walter George Hodder (1856–1933) and Ann Donald (1856–1927).[1]
Ethel and Ernest separated in 1926 and there was an accusation of Adultery needing court proceedings.[8][9][10]
Ethel died on 9 February 1953 in Wellington, New Zealand, aged 72.[11] Ethel was mentioned on a memorial in Karori Cemetery and Crematorium, Wellington, Wellington City, Wellington, New Zealand with a death date of 9 February 1953.[12]
