Biography

Henry Charles Hodgkin was born in 1878 at Launton in Oxfordshire. He was the son of Henry Hodgkin and his wife Elizabeth, born Elizabeth Augusta Hodgkin. [1] [2]

In 1881 Henry Charles Hodgkins [sic] was living at the School House in Launton with his parents Henry William and Elizabeth A[u]gusta Hodgkins. His age was given as 2, implying a birth date in 1878 or 1879. His birthplace was given as Launton, Oxfordshire. [2]

In 1891 Henry C. Hodgkin was living at 13 Poplar Walk Road in Herne Hill in London with his parents. His age was given as 12, implying a birth date in 1878 or 1879. His birthplace was given as Launton, Oxfordshire. He was at school. [3]
