Biography
Edith Elizabeth Hogg is the descendant of a Huguenot emigrant.
Edith[1] Elizabeth Hogg, born 30 Mar 1906 in Anaconda,[2] Deer Lodge County, Montana, the daughter of Bert Elmer Hogg and his wife Anna Cordelia Gregg.[1][2] The family later returned to Missouri, where Edith grew to maturity.
She was married 20 December 1927 to Jesse James Fitzgerald. They had the following child:
- Carolyn Ann Fitzgerald[2] (6 January 1929-living), married first 2 December 1950 to Paul C Brown;[3] married later to Unknown Drummond[4]
She had a cousin, Lillian Gregg, who was a number of years younger than her. Lillian remembered when she visited Edith and her husband, they would take Lillian Gregg out for ice cream at Linwood Dairy.[5]
Edith and her family lived at 4041 Flora, Kansas City, Missouri. She died17 May 1962, and is buried in Mt. Moriah Cemetery, Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri.[2]
