Novella Catherine (Elizabeth / Isabella) Hollar was born April 20, 1885 in Catawba County, North Carolina to parents William Hollar and Florence Yount. [1]
Novella married Lawrence Zero Bollinger on October 11, 1903 in Newton, Catawba County, North Carolina[2]and together they had six children:
Ruth Glen (1906 - 1907)
Alvin Richard (1909 - 1934)
Lillian (1911 - 1943)
Clarence Edward (1913 - 1995)
Catherine Irene (1915 - 1940)
Celestine Faye (1919 - 2013)
She passed away July 14, 1966 after a myocardial infarction that was "attributed to arteriosclerosis".[3]She was buried two days later on July 17[4]at Bollinger Chapel UMC Cemetery in Morganton, North Carolina, United States.[5][6]
