The small cross symbol close to Karl's first name in his baptism entry probably marks him in the book as dead. But why are there three little crosses in an index entry of Karl?
Transcription of baptism record: On the day of 5 November Karl[,] son of the local nobleman Martin Holzinger and his wife Maria was baptized. He was baptized by Richard Dix (?), a local citizen and senator[,] his godparents were Lucia, the baptist's wife, and Father Georgius Paukner p.t.C[uratus]. [?]
Information from the death record: The dean was the owner of house no. 86, where Karl Holzinger, citizen and a baker, died of emaciation on 27 July 1789 at the age of 64. "May his soul rest in peace."
Ahnenpaß says 15 Oct 1726 for birth and baptism. Tauf-Reg.-Nr. II/26 says 05 Nov 1726
