Biography
John was christened on August 12, 1804 at St. Mary Magdalene, Cowden, Kent.
1841 Census John (aged 35-39 years) was living at Worth, Sussex with his wife Susanna (35-39) and children Mary (12), Sarah (10), Fanny (7) and Susanna (5). Present also was Elizabeth Hooker(20-24) born Sussex, Jane Sadler (40-44) born Sussex, William Holliday (20-24) born Sussex and William Ledbetter (14) born Sussex.
1851 Census John (aged 46 years) was living at Reigate, Surrey with his wife Susanna (44) and children Mary (21), Sarah Ann (19), Fanny (17) and Susanna (15). Also living there was Martin Miller (25) born Bletchingly, Surrey, Thomas King (1) born Horne, Surrey, Thomas Charman (16) born Horley, Surrey, John Miller (16) born Bletchingly, Surrey and Mary Ware (15) born Horley, Surrey.
1861 Census John (aged 57 years) was living at Outwood Common, Reigate, Surrey with his wife Susanna (57) and daughters Mary (31) and Susana (23)
