Garret A. HOPPER. Born on 28 Jan 1755 in probably Hoppertown (now Ho-Ho-Kus), Bergen Co., NJ. Garret A. was baptized in Paramus Reformed Dutch Church., Ridgewood, Bergen Co., NJ, on 6 Feb 1757.11 Garret A. died in "Hoppertown", Bergen Co., NJ, on 18 Dec 1830; he was 75.

On 5 May 1781 when Garret A. was 26, he married Catharine (Cathlytnje) COOPER.[1]
