Biography

Mary Howard, the daughter of Daniel Howard, Esq. and Damaris (Williams) Howard, was born in Bridgewater, Plymouth Colony on 2 August 1727^[1] or 24 August 1727.^[2][3] She was baptized on 7 December 1727, at the First Church in Bridgewater (later West Bridgewater).^[1]

Mary married Simeon Cary in Bridgewater on 27 June 1754.^[4][5]

Mary and Simeon had the following children, all born in Bridgewater:

Mary's husband, Col. Simeon Cary died 30 January 1802, at the age of 82 (in his 83rd year), in Bridgewater.^[15][5]

Mary died on 1 May 1815, at the age of 88, in Bridgewater.^[12] She was buried in the North End or Ashland Cemetery in what-is-now Brockton.^[12]
