George was born in Doncaster, Yorkshire on 22 Jul 1863 (Baptism record has 23 Jul) - Note: His LNAB is Howorth (see birth certificate).

George's birth was registered in the Jul-Aug-Sep quarter of 1863 in the Doncaster in the Counties of York and Nottingham district.[1]

George was baptised there with his brother John in 1865.

In the 1881 census George (age 17), Apprentice Joiner, was the unmarried son of William Lund in Mexborough, Yorkshire, Yorkshire West Riding, England.[3]

George Lund (1863-) needs to have his LNAB changed to reflect his birth registration, to George Howorth. George was subsequently renamed George Lund at his baptism in 1865.
