Biography

Birth and Early Life

George was born on February 27, 1853[1] George is the oldest of four whose parents are William Daniel Huffman and Sallie R. (Holmes) Huffman[2][1]. In 1860, he lived with his parents and three younger siblings in Tuckahoe, North Carolina[2].

    1. James West Huffman b. 2 Jul 1928 in Jones County, NC[7]. After George's death, James was adopted by his stepfather and had his last name changed to Foy (the surname of his stepfather).


Death

He passed away on April 10, 1932 at roughly 5:30 pm in St. Luke's Hospital in New Bern, North Carolina from an injury due to an auto accident[1]. On April 11, 1932, he was buried in "Hines Cemetery."[1] Which Hines Cemetery is not stated but it is easily assumed to be in North Carolina, but the county and city is harder to say.
