Raymond Ernest Hunkin was born in 1917 in Redruth, Cornwall, England, United Kingdom, son of Ernest Lewhenworth Hunkin (1891–1918) and Brenda Emma Parsons (1884–1965).[1]

Raymond died on 7 June 1999 in Norwich, Norfolk, England, aged 81.[2]

Raymond (29) married Edith Joyce Webley (27) (born in 1919 in St Austell, Cornwall) in 1947 in Liskeard, Cornwall.[3] Their known daughter was Linda J Hunkin (1949 – 1952).
