[William Sharp was] married about 1819 to Barbara Hunter, born 9 November 1798 to Henry and Barbara (Bollinger) Hunter. She died 26 August 1838 at the age of 39 years, 9 months, and is buried in the Scottville West Cemetery in Macoupin County, Illinois.
