ISAAC HUSK Obituary: Isaac Husk, son of Samuel and Dorcas Husk, of Pennsylvania, was born on April 13, 1846, and departed this life May 1, 1928. He was united in marriage to Rachel West and to this union nine children were born. Four children have preceded him in death: Emma Carpenter, Dilla Freshour, Oca Freshour and Victoria Husk. Five children still survive him: Martha Smith, of Parkersburg, Lena Smith, of Grantsvile; Sarah Davis, of Grantsville, Cardella Boggs, of Cremo. He was a soldier in the civil war and at the close of the war he received his honorable discharge and to leaving this world he has left a good record behind. He was loved by all who knew him and he will be greatly missed. He professed faith in Christ in his early youth. He was 82 years and 10 days old at the time of his death. The Lord was with him in his last trying hour. He said be, was going home and we feel proud to know that be is in the arms of Jesus, who doth all things well. All was done that hands could do to keep him with us...[1]
