Mitchell's burial location is uncertain. Memorials exist in Alfrey Cemetery, Morehead, Rowan, Kentucky.[3] and in Ginter Cemetery, Menifee County.[4]
Research Notes
While the FamilySearch reported burial location is Alfrey Cemetery, the death certificate indicates he was buried in Staton Cemetery which was located on Beaver Creek in Menifee County. Most individuals in the cemetery were disinterred and reinterred in the Ginter Cemetery, Menifee County, including those in his maternal line.
