This photo was taken during training at Great Bend, KS.The crew was there from Aug/Sep '44 through Feb of '45. The gear they are wearing in the picture was never worn on Guam and naturally indicates a winter setting.

Not all of those pictured were part of the crew. Back row left to right: Lt Wm Kittrell-P, Lt Alvin Dillaber-B, Lt Rbt McDonald-A/C, Andrew Evans-CFC gunner, Jackabowski-N, Richard Walling- RG, Bottom : Wally-radio, Joseph Buscaglia- FE, Norman Wells-TG,Glenn Weesner-LG, Waclawski-Radar. The nav. was replaced by Lew Perry who flew with the crew until early April and replaced by Lt Wilfred Flesher. The F/E was replaced by John Henrickson. Radar was replaced by Lt Carl Kleinhofer. Lt. Oscar Groft was an observer on their "Final Flight" Changes made in KS except for Perry.
