Biography

Jennie Margaret Irving was likely born about 1892 to Charles Irving and Adele Crockett Bain Irving.

Adele Crockett Bain Irving and her daughters - Frances Bain, Jennie Irving, Daisy Irving, and Maud/Marion Irving - arrived in New York City aboard the SS "Saratoga" 25 June 1905 to visit Ernest Seymour and Mary Catherine Crockett Seymour, her brother-in-law and sister. One week later, 2 July 1905, Adele died in Yonkers, New York and was buried in Oakland Cemetery.

Jennie Irving (and her sisters) returned to Nassau; she had children in Nassau before her marriage in 1920: a daughter Mercedes was born about 1910; a daughter Marie Dolores Irving born 24 January 1913; a son (Hugh Ricardo) born 27 April 1915, and a son born about 1917.

Jennie Margaret Irving married John Cancino, son of Francisco Cancino and Sarah Hall Cancino, 20 June 1920 at the Rectory, St. Francis Xavier Church. The couple had a daughter, Lorraine, and a son, Francis, born in 1923.

Jennie was born in 1892. She passed away in 1997. [1]

Hi! This is the profile for my great-grandmother Jennie who died in 1997 when I was 17 years old. She had 5 children that I know of, Marie Delores and Stanley Irving (their father was an A. Farrington), Lorraine, Francis and Juan Perez Cancino with her husband John Cancino. Hugh Ricardo was the son of John and his first wife Julia. I know my grandfather Francis had a brother called Hugh but this was his half brother.
