Sarah Jadwin's father was Jeremiah Jadwin, who died in 1726. Her mother, Isabel Harrison Jadwin, remarried William Swift, and the Swift surname was sometimes attributed to his stepdaughter. Thus, the marriage record for Patrick Lindsey shows him marrying Sarah "Swift".
