Biography
Rose was born about 1873 in Russia. Although her father's name is not known, her mother was Rosie (Unknown) Jaffe, also a Russian immigrant.[1]
Rose immigrated from Russia to the United States.
Rose married Isaac Orkin in 1892 Pennsylvania, United States[2][3]
and they had two children, Eva (born about 1896) and Abe (born about 1898).
In 1900, Rose and Isaac were living in Shenandoah, Schuylkill, Pennsylvania, United States with two children, six year old Eva and two year old Abe. Rose's widowed mother (Rosie Jaffe) and sister (Annie Jaffe), newly arrived from Russia, also lived with them.[1]
Rose died June 22, 1909 and was buried in the Kehillath Israel Hebrew Cemetery in Shenandoah Heights, Schuylkill, Pennsylvania, United States.[4]
