Sarah was born about 1667[1], most probably in Llangurig, Montgemeryshire, Wales.[2] She came to Delaware County, Province of Pennsylvania about 1683.[3]
Research Notes
She may be the Sarah Jarman who married Joseph Ambler in 1688. Evidence against this would be that the John Jarman who immigrated with wife Margerett and daughters Sarah and Elizabeth was still living near Radnor Meeting or Haverford Meeting (both in Delaware county) at the time of the marriage. The marriage took place in the city of Philadelphia. The marriage would typically take place in the home location of the bride.

Birth dates for parents would make them 16 and 11, respectively, when Sarah was born. Also unusual for parents to have children with the same name, unless the older had passed and the name was given to a new child born to the family.
