Reginald was a Friend (Quaker)

Reynold Jenkins, son of Jabez Jenkins and Hannah Curtis, daughter of Thomas Curtis, was born about 1680 (estimated based on marriage date and parents' marriage date), at Kittery, York, Maine. Jabez married Elizabeth Canney, daughter of Joseph Canney of Dover, New Hampshire, at Kittery, May 8, 1712. Jabez died at Kittery January 9, 1735.^[1]

Jabez and Hannah had the following known children:^[1]

1. Elizabeth, born June 8, 1713; married Jedediah Morrell December 5, 1734
2. Jabez, born February 12, 1714-15; married Elizabeth Dennett
3. Hannah, born February 11, 1717-18
4. Mary, born February 5, 1719-20; died April 8, 1723
5. Sarah, born July 23, 1723; died October 31, 1815
6. Elijah, born March 13, 1725; married Mehitable Weymouth
7. Mary, twin to Elijah; married Samuel Goold
