Stephen Johnson is a Military Veteran. Served in the Union Army, American Civil War
Stephen was born about 1834. He may be the son of Harriet Johnson
Research Notes
Stephen may have died between 1868 and 1870. His last land transaction was in 1868. He did not appear in the 1870 census. Orders for headstones were not consistently placed within a few years after the death of the soldier, therefore Stephen didn't necessarily live until 1888 when his headstone order was placed.
Might be the son of Simon Johnson. Simon Johnson was married to Stephen's mother, Harriet, before 1860.
