Robert and some of his other siblings were counted on the 1940 census in Harrison County, Texas as the child of Eddie and Ida Mae Jones. Since their mother died in 1931, I assume their father Alex was also deceased and Eddie and his wife adopted these children. The 1940 census also reported that these children lived in Caddo Parish, Louisiana in 1935.
Is Eddie the brother of Alex Jones?
