James Bradley Joyce was born on 27 April 1913 in Swan's Island, Hancock County, Maine, USA.14 James Bradley Joyce and Gladys Frances Joyce were married on 15 October 1939 in Swan's Island, Hancock County, Maine, USA. Gladys Frances Joyce was the daughter of Chester Leroy Joyce and Bessie A. Herrick. In 1939 he was a store clerk for A C Smith store in Atlantic, Swan's Island, Maine, USA. He was a Lobster Fisherman in Swan's Island, Hancock County, Maine, USA. He died on 7 September 1999 at the age of 86 in Brewer, Penobscot County, Maine, USA.14 He was buried on 9 September 1999 in Rose Hill cemetery, Atlantic.

Bradley JOYCE (he went by his middle name) married his third cousin Gladys Frances Joyce on Swans Island, Hancock Co, Maine. They were both 2nd great-grandchildren of Dea. James Jr. & Jane D. (STINSON) JOYCE. Bradley & Gladys are the parents of seven children.
