Biography

David Kammerer was married to Katharine Bleam or Bliehm in 1827.^[1] Their marriage was held at Allentown, Pennsylvania.

David was in a record in 1830.^[2]

From History of Allegheny County, Pennsylvania:^[3]

Amelia A., daughter of Rev. David Kammerer, who was fourteen years pastor of the Smithfield Street (Pittsburgh) Evangelical Church.

His obituary in The Wooster Daily Republican gave a lot of detail about his ministry and life. He started his ministry in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and later mainly served in churches in and around Stark and Wayne Counties in Ohio.^[4]

In the 1870 census David (age 68) was in Wooster Ward 1, Wayne, Ohio.^[5] David was still active as a minister, and another David (41) who lived with them was working as a clerk in a drug store.

David's estate passed probate.^[6][7] (This record is incorrectly indexed, and does not actually have David himself listed, but children Amelia and Theador are listed.)

His find-a-grave memorial (which includes a photo of his tombstone), claims he was born in 1802 and died in 1893. He is buried in Wooster, Ohio.^[8]
