Biography
Research note: Karin is an illegitimate daughter of Karl Knutsson (House of Bonde) but her mother is not known. Not much is known about Karin either, other than her marriage to Erengisle Björnsson Diekn/Djäkn.
Karin was born about 1441. Karin Bonde ... She passed away after 1460.[1]
One mention of Karin is in her marriage to Erengisle Björnsson, she is said to be his second wife. Erengisle Björnsson till Gammelby, väpnare. Befallningsman på Viborgs slott. Lefde ännu 1476. Gift l:o med ??; — 2:o med Karin, som sades vara konung Karl Knutssons oäkta dotter. [2] Frälsesläkter i sin tur anger som källa till giftemålet "Jakob Teitts klagomålsreg. 226".
Erengisle skall, enligt Frälsesläkter, fått åtminstone två barn men vem av hans hustrur som är deras moder anges ej.

- Märta Erengislesdotter, gift med Johan Fleming, n:r 4. Genom detta gifte kommo Gammelby och Tjusterby till ätten Fleming.
