Genealogically Defined

Charles was born about 1829 at Ash next Sandwich, Kent, England[1][2][3][4] and baptised on the 31st May 1829 at St. Nicholas, Ash next Sandwich, Kent, England, the son of Isaac Kemp and Amelia Kemp[5].

Charles was probably living at Goodnestone next Wingham in 1861.

On the 13th October 1864, Charles married widow Charlotte Hooker (nee Belsey) at Holy Cross, Goodnestone, Kent, England[6].

"MARRIAGES- GOODNESTONE- Oct. 13, Mr. Charles Kemp of Barnsell to Mrs. Charlotte Hooker.[6]

Charles and Charlotte appear to have had no children together.

Charles passed away aged 71 years in 1900[7] at Eastry Union Workhouse, Eastry, Kent, England and was buried on the 29th September 1900 at Holy Cross, Goodnestone Next Wingham, Kent, England[8].
