Biography

Mayflower Descendant of Peter Browne

May have been born in Liverpool, NS[1]

TB Smith Collections: "Hunt Gen Data says: Ephraim married in 1785 Mary Kempton, daughter of Richard, a descendant of Pilgrim Francis Cook and Richard Warren, the pilgram. Ephraim and Mary had one or two daughters and three sons. One son Thomas died young. Ephraim Junr married 1829 Olivia Smith, dau of Josiah and they were among the first settlers of North Queens, NS. Samuel Hunt, born in Liverpool, Feb 25 1792 married 1814 Lucerna Freeman, daughter of Rebecca Harlow and Samuel Freeman and settled in Greenfield." NLT Notes: I found the genealogical line to Francis Cook, as well as an unmentioned line to Stephen Hopkins through his daughter Damaris, but I have not been able to find a line up to Richard Warren as of this time. The line through Damaris is disputed due to a "Ruth Cooke" married Helkiah Tinckham - apparently there is no proof that it is Ruth Cooke, just proof that Helkiah married a "Ruth".

Fear Curtis md Richard Kempton Anissa Penn Davis: "The Silver Book goes to the birth of Gen 6 Fear. It does not say who she married. Gen 3 Ruth's maiden name is unknown in the book." Anissa Penn Davis: "I did check in my papers and see that Gen 6 Fear Curtis md Richard Kempton, so you are good"
