Thomas Michael Kenealy was born on 9th August 1908 at 9 Fownes St Buildings, Dublin. He is the son of Joseph Kenealy (a van-man) and Mary O'Sullivan. [1][2][3] He was probably named after his maternal grandfather Thomas O'Sullivan (abt.1844-1920). He had two older brothers and an older sister.
Sadly, Thomas died in the family home on 1st September 1908 at the age of only three weeks. The cause of his death was given as "infantile diarrhea" suffered for 10 days, and "asthenia" (abnormal physical weakness or lack of energy). [4][5] His death was registered by his mother the following day.
