Hello, after recent BigY DNA testing, with 3 of Dr. Joseph Kennedy's male descendants,( 1 from Maxfield's line and 1 from Josiah Nathaniel's line as well as another descendant of Mastin Cobb who was a neighbor to Kennedys in Honea Path SC) this line of Kennedy's descends from male Pinkertons in the Orange County NC & Washington County GA area. Research for the Pinkerton Surname Project is ongoing but we have matches with dates, locations, and YDNA.

He was not the son of William Crawford Kennedy. My father was his 4x great grandson.

Hello. I came across your tree. I believe that your Kennedy's, Bryants, Goodwins and Hinsons can be found in the area of Marion County, South Carolina. I have a lot of ancestors there and these names are familiar. Hope this helps. Ken
