Nancy Ann "Ann" (Agness or Anges?) Combest Kennedy was born in 1749 in Chester, Camden Distrcit, South Carolina Colony, British Colonial America, the daughter of ? Chester County was not formed until 1785, from the old Camden Judicial District.

Ann married first John Combest (1740-1786) in 1768 in Camden Judicial District, South Carolina. [Note: Chester County was one of seven counties created in 1785 from the old Camden Judicial District.] Their children were:
