- Jaapje Kersbergen, a 33 year old winkelierster (shopkeeper), married Thomas den Hertog, a 25 year old arbeider (laborer), in Nieuwkoop, Zuid-Holland on November 20, 1863. He was born in Nieuwkoop, Zuid-Holland and is the son of Gijsbert den Hertog and Dirkje Hogenes/Hoogevest.[2]
