Hal King was an American professional baseball player. He played in Major League Baseball from 1967 to 1974, as a catcher for the Houston Astros, Texas Rangers, Atlanta Braves, and Cincinnati Reds. He then played for the Saltillo Saraperos of the Mexican League from 1975-1979.
Son of Andrew King and May Bell Smith.
Hal was one of 14 children, nine of whom were boys. Four of his brothers also played baseball seriously, including Johnnie and Nate.
