Biography
Descendant of Mayflower passengers William Brewster and Stephen Hopkins.
Lydia was born in 1772 in Eastham, the daughter of Amos and Abigail Knowles.[1]
On August 30, 1794, in Eastham, Robert Knowles married Lydia Knowles.[2]
The 1926 NEHGR article The Knowles Family of Eastham, Mass. gives the following children:[3]
- Abigail, b. 9 Apr 1795; m. Heman Snow
- Mehitable, b. 25 Jul 1798; m. Jonathan Sherman
- Sylvia, b. 18 Apr 1800; m. Joshua Higgins
In December 1812, in Eastham, Heman Snow married Lydia Knowles.[4]
