Biography

Geertruijd was the daughter of Gysbrechts Kuijsten, a wine merchant of Bois-le-Duc who died in 1599, and Susanna van Casteren who died 1614. Geertruijd was the sister of Hendrick Kuijsten, of Bois-le-Duc, who married Alida Goosensdr van den Burgh, and the aunt of their daughter Alida Kuijsten, who was the first wife of Johan de Hulter.
