Mary may have been the daughter of John Lambert and Preserved Gaskoyne, born 1667 in Ipswich.[8][9] This is a plausible age, and that Mary had a brother Ebenezer while this Mary named her first child Ebenezer.
Others claim she was born 11 March 1658 in Ipswich, daughter of William Lambert, mother unknown, twin to James.[10][11]
She may be the Mary Joslyn who married, as his second wife, John Elwell Jr., on 7 Jan 1708/09 at Gloucester, Massachusetts.[12] Since Henry Joslyn's death information is unknown, it's possible but not proven that his wife could have been a widow at that time. The Mary Elwell who died on 26 Dec 1717, age 48, also roughly fits the daughter of John Lambert.

Joslyn-143 and Lambert-9412 do not represent the same person because: Mary Lambert, daughter of William was born at Ipswich, MA in 1658, in 1717 she would have been about 59/60 years old.
The death of Mary (joslyn) Elwell in 1717 aged 48, does not coincide. Please add some sources to confirm your data.
Hi Chris, if this Mary was the dau of John Lambert & Preserved Gaskoyne b. 1667 then that's a slightly better fit for Mary Elwell's age at death in 1717. I think plausible-but-not-proven, what's your feeling? I've updated the research notes here with what little info there is.
Per Carl Miller 10/6/18: "Joslyn-143 and Lambert-9412 appear to represent the same person because: John Elwell (1668) had 2 wives - the last two should be merged, ie (2) Mary (Lambert) Elwell & (3) Mary (Joslyn) Elwell. "Lambert" is the maiden name; "Joslyn" is the first husband's name."
