Bird (Birdsey) LANDON, son of Thaddeus and Anne Marsh (Baldwin) Landon, born June 21, 1787, Litchfield, married Susan Lane, February 27, 1815, born December 6, 1787. On Oct 11, 1836, Bird Landon was headed to Montpelier, Vermont on business. He stopped in the yard to give instructions to the workers when Bird suddenly fell over, dead. He had been Town Clerk in So Hero for many years. He was also Town Treasurer and Justice of the Peace. On June 10, 1823, he was a delegate representing South Hero to the Convention in Montpelier, Vermont. He died Oct 11, 1836. She died July 3, 1875. Children:
