Cecile Landry was born about 1716 to Jean Landry and Cecile Melanson.[1]. She was likely born in Port Royal as by 1714 they had moved back to the Port Royal area (now called Annapolis Royal)[2]
Cécile (32) married Charles Daigre (27) (born in Pisiguit, Acadie, Colony of Nova Scotia) in 1749.
Their known children were:
Cécile died at sea around 13 December 1758 in the wreck of the Duke William, during the crossing to France.[citation needed]
No baptism found for her in Port Royal registers even though church records are available.
