Biography

Eunice Lapham was born 11 Feb 1789 in Providence, Providence, Rhode Island to Augustus Lapham & Mary Scott Lapham. [1]

Stephen Farnum & Eunice Lapham were married 4 Dec 1811 in Smithfield, Providence, Rhode Island. His parents were listed as Joseph & Hannah, hers as Augustus & Mary.[2]

Eunice Lapham was born 11 Feb 1789, the daughter of Augustus Lapham (1750-1828) & Mary (Scott) Lapham (1754-1825). She died 28 May1881, She married Stephen Farnum 4 Dec 1811. He was born 8 July 1789, died 18 March 1864, and was the son of Joseph and Hannah (Congdon) Farnum. Eunice & Stephen's children are listed as:

  1. Hannah born 1 Mar 1813; died 27 Aug 1906. She married Charles Peckham 6 Jun 1838, the son of Thomas J. and Sarah (Wardell) Peckham of Providence, Rhode Island.
  2. Richard born 11 May 1816; d. 16 Oct 1820.
  3. Richard Scott born14 Feb 1822; died 30 Apr 1895; unmarried.
  4. Maria born 20 Jun 1824; died 30 Oct 1851. She married Willard March, 1 Jan 1850. They had no descendants.
  5. Abby born 27 Jul 1826; died 22 Nov 1918, unmarried.
