Nathaniel Lardner[1] was the son of an Independent minister. He became a preacher in London, and was more widely known and influential as a biblical and patristic scholar and writer.[2]

12 Jun 1684: Christened at Independent, Deal, Kent, England.[3]

1745: Granted the degree of DD by Marischal College, Aberdeen.[5]

24 Jul 1768: Died at Hawkhurst.[5]
