Biography
Marie Elisabeth was baptized 5 Jul 1777 in St-Jean-Port-Joli. She was the daughter of Jean Baptiste Le Claire and Marie Claire Thibault. Godparents were Jean Baptiste Peltier and Marie Angelique Le Clair, no signatures. [1]
On 25 Nov 1799, in St-Jean-Port-Joli, Zacharie Thibault son of Louis Marie Thibault and the late Marie Marthe Caron married Marie Elizabeth Leclerc dite Francoeur daughter of Jean Baptiste Leclerc dit Francoeur and Marie Claire Thibault. Witnesses included both fathers, no signatures. [2]
- Dispensation was obtained for a 4th degree of consanguinity.
Marie Elizabeth Leclere dite Francoeur, 33 year old wife of Zacharie Thibault, died 4 May 1811. She was buried 2 days later in St-Jean-Port-Joli cemetery. [3]
