Biography

Though born in Hobart, she lived the first part of her married life in Darwin where her husband had a business and later held government posts. She returned to Hobart for the births of some of her children. From the 1940s she lived in Melbourne.

The birth was registered by her grandfather, James Gray, occupier of the house in Harrington Street. Presumably her father, Isaac, was away at sea.
