Ledford-3379 and Ledford-434 appear to represent the same person because: Same spouse, same mother. Also, a comment on one profile noted that there was likely a non-paternity event. That should probably be mentioned in a research or DNA notes section so people don't think that Macom McLerran is mistakenly linked as McFalls Ledford's father. It also looks like both Nancy Morris profiles need to be merged as well.

Hello, I have been researching my Ledford paternal line. I have taken multiple dna tests to confirm my paternal line. I have an Ancestry autosomal dna test that confirms that I connect to the Ledfords decending from McFalls Ledford. I also took a y-700 dna test through Family Tree Dna. The Y results indicate that a McLaren is a forefather of McFalls Ledford. I know McFalls Ledford has McLaren Y dna. McFalls is my 3rd great grandfather. I have supporting information that supports this. I have never found a source that shows his name as John. Absalom Ledford and Anna Lloyd ARE NOT his parents!! A descendant of McFalls' son Lemuel Russell Ledford has also tested and he is a Y dna match to me. He is my 4th cousin. I will share this information with others in this line.

Thank you for any help, Jeff (Ledford) Holmes (holmesib(AT)yahoo(dot)com)
