Louis Joseph Lefebvre was born on February 10, 1732, in Neuville, Nouvelle France, to his father, Guillaume Lefebvre, age 31, and his mother, Marie-Angélique Richard, age 26. He was baptized there at the Catholic parish of St-François-de-Sales. [1]
He married Marie Claire Matte at Sainte-Famille-du-Cap-Santé on 20 January 1766.[2] Together, they had the following known children:
