Sarah was born on 13 June 1879 and christened at St Elphin's Church, Warrington, Lancashire on 27th June 1879. She was the daughter of Joseph Leigh and Alice Dawson. ^[1]

Her birth was registered in the Jul-Aug-Sep quarter of 1879 in the Warrington district.^[2]

In the 1881 census 1 year old Sarah was living with her parents, Joseph and Alice and her older sister, Elizabeth Leigh on Winwick Street, Warrington, Lancashire, England.^[3]

Sarah died aged 2 and her death was registered in the Apr-May-Jun quarter of 1882 in the Warrington district.^[4]
